Autodesk Inventor Essentials: Level I

Course Name: Getting Started with Autodesk Inventor

Who Should Attend: New Autodesk Inventor customers, 2D Drafters wanting to learn basic 3D design techniques.

Course Description: This course is designed to enable attendees to understand the basics of Mechanical Computer-aided Design (MCAD) and Autodesk Inventor 12. Attendees will learn how to navigate the  gesture-based user interface and receive overviews of the basic sketching, part modeling, and assembly modeling techniques.

The course also includes an introduction to adaptive design techniques, guidelines for creating animated presentations, and a general review of the tools for creating mechanical drawings. Additional topics such as an  overview of design data migration, collaboration tools, and design data management will also be covered as.

Methods: Lecture and hands-on instructor-led Classroom Training

Prerequisites: None – this class is accessible as an introduction to Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
